Privacy policy

This page explains what ProperCam stores about you and why. It is a working draft and will be replaced by a reviewed policy before launch.

What we store

Your name, email address and a hashed password. The scans you upload: 3D meshes, room layouts, thumbnails and the device model used to capture them. Billing is handled by Stripe; we keep your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, never your card details.

Where it is stored

Account data is kept in our database. Scan files are kept in private Cloudflare R2 storage and are only reachable through signed links that expire within an hour.

Your choices

Deleting a scan removes its files from storage. To close your account and remove everything, contact us from the email address on the account.
